The depression and feeling of devastation passes.I was at first but now that I feel healthier and have all the correct information I know that HIV is no different than many other illnesses. You just have to take care of yourself, mentally and physically and you will be fine.

It moves to the background but its always there... looking I am sure people with cancer or diabetes or crones disease also have there ills on there minds 90% of the time.I would say I have it on my mind about 40% of the time now.It used to be 100%.

Wow
I think its so amazing how you guys feel about having HIV. It must take a really strong person to come with terms with the disease. I mean at first it must been so devastating. I don't know what I would do if I was diagnose with HIV. To me, I don't look down on people with HIV. Your right, its just like any other disease. I heard people lived for years with it by just living a healthy life style and being happy. But I wish the best of luck to you and keep your head up. I hope one day that someone finds a cure. With love.
