Two months ago I had one too many vodkas,
and on the walk home from the pub I found
a trolley. My friend suggested I get into
the baby seat of the trolley (and put my
legs through the baby holes of the
trolley). He swung me around foolishly and
the trolley came crashing down. As a
result I had HUGE bruises on the front of
my thighs.
The pain went away within a week, and the
bruises faded. However, I now have dents
where the bruises were and i'm scared that
they will remain there forever. They no
longer hurt, however there is still slight
discolouration where the bruises were. I
am hoping the dents are still healing and
they'll go away.
Will the dents be there forever? I'm so
worried!

The bruising you had with the injury may
not be completely healed. Bruising can
occur deep within the tissue. You can try
to gently massage the area of injury. This
will help to break up any scar tissue that
resulted from the injury. Time will heal
the bruising.
