Hi,

I went to the dentist in November to have my teeth cleaned. During the cleaning the dentist found a tooth that needed to be filled and that's where my problems started. I have been in pain ever since. I went to my Medical doctor after a month of being in pain and was told I had infection. They gave me an antibiotic. Now it's back again - the same tooth with a bump on the side and I am in pain. It's been 3 months, I don't know what to do. I am scared to go to the dentist now. This dentist that I was using ... I have been in his office at least 4 times in one month. Please give me some advice on what to do next.

I would say go to another dentist it is probably infected for one because they did not clean the cavity out completely or they did a careless work! Otherwise the cavity may be to big to save the tooth either way I would go to another dentist to get an opinion!

Yeah I would tell you the same.

Go to another dentist it's important you check on that because and infection in your mouth it's a dangerous thing.

Hi,

I must agreed with both of above reply, firstly you have to change your dentist, and tell him about all of your prior treatment, and tell him to remove cavity completely first after that he will recommend for antibiotics.

Thanks!
