Dellusions and Medication

I am affected by bipolar disorder but with minimal delusions. at night not to long ago i came home from a night out with friends and experinced dellusions. I was extremly paranoid and felt someone was after me. Earlyer that day i had severe deppresion and then had fit of rage. I torn down my bookcase. The dellusion went away. I am currently on 300 mg of lamictal and % mg of Abilify at night but i rarely take the Abilify. I know i should and im going to start now. I would just like to know what medication works best for delusions with minimal side affetcts. I also had issues with bulimia in the past so weight gain is a huge thing for me.
