I'm a paleotologist and I have to go camp in the desert for two months. I would prefer not to have my period during this strenuous trip. is it possible/safe to delay your period for that amount of time?

I have used Norethisterone in the past, but only for a week or two. Can I use this for a longer period of time? Or will I need to start taking the pill (which I a not currently on). I'm a 22 year old woman in good physical health.

Please help!
