Menstruation Answer A6354

According to the data you reported, you might be experiencing a delayed period. A missing period is also a possibility. These might occur due to many causes, including: a hormonal imbalance, stress (both physical or emotional) and pregnancy.

You might consult with your ObGyn as to what might have caused this condition and what further tests are needed to determine the origin or to rule them out.

You might also consult with your gynecologist about the rate of false negative HCG results which depends on the reagents used for the laboratory tests and is claimed by the manufacturer.
