I have been to the Dr. several times and I was only 25 and was told my only option was surgery. I did not want to believe that because I was so young and the consequences were so high. I continued on in pain and now I am almost 30 and the pain is so unbearable that I have lost a few jobs for not being able to do them properly. I have been to the emergency room Dr.'s on more than 1 occasion recently because I cannot get insurance at work to see a family physician and all they will do is try to send me home on pain medication and muscle relaxers without even examining me. The medications they give me no longer work and I am almost to the point of not being able to walk. I don't know where to go from here since I am employed but am not eligible for insurance I cannot be seen by a Dr. and I don't think I can go on like this any longer. What can I do?
