My son was diagnosed at 19 with degenerative disk in his lower back, and diagnosed with degerative joint disease at 21. He has had dr. and hospital visits for his back, his knees, his shoulders, his ankle. Its seems he is deteriorating fast. He is 28 now and not a happy man. Is it possible this is all from a severe case of mono when he was 16. I mean bad, he slept 5 weeks straight, it began Jan 2, he return to high school part time in April, never has felt healthy really since then.
