Degenerative Disc Disease

I had 3 ruptured discs in my lower back L3 through L5, I had surgery on March 3rd. I then went in for a follow up MRI of my spine and had a massively ruptured disc in my neck C5-C6. I had to have surgery and fusion. My doctor, after 1 week, lowered my pain meds from Hydrocodone 10mg to 7.5 mg. He then, after the script ran out, waited 5 days to call me in any more and over a week for antibiotics. My incision was and sti,ll is infected. I have done further research on this "doctor" and what others have said about him and it is shocking that he can still operate. He is at the bottom of the barrel!!
At the time of my surgery, I ONLY had Medicaid, and he was the only doctor who would help me and pain management will not take Medicaid. Now I have BCBS and have been accepted into pain management starting April 29th.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I AM STILL IN DISABLING AND AGONIZING PAIN!! My life consists of lying in bed and suffering, which hopefully will be stopped after pain management. This "doctor" would not even give me a referral to pain management!! Out of pity they accepted me.
I am thinking of bringing a lawsuit against this doctor. I have spoken with 2 lawyers and they are going to get back to me. I was given treatment that is worse than what an animal would receive. I am not "money hungry" but I just want him to admit that he was wrong and be diciplined for it and for others to know how arrogant and bad that he truly is!!
