Q: Deep Knee Bruise

i got plowed over playing catcher 15, almost 16 weeks ago. i am 16. i am very thin and tall. the doctor ran several tests, and i have a deep knee bone bruise in the entire joint. is there anything i can do to help relieve the pain? i ride horses everyday, but can only ride 45 min. because of the pain. also how long do these normally take to heal? thanks
