In about two months time, I'm having an L3-L5 Decompressive Laminectomy, Foraminotomy and Instrumented Fusion using PEEK Cages anteriorly in the disc spaces and pedicle screws posteriorly. Whew!

Anyway, I'm looking for the best on-line resources for information on all or part of those subjects. I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman almost 50 years ago and I worked for a neurosurgeon for about a year, so my working knowledge is a little behind the times. (Way behind!) I still know most medical terminology and I can remember most of what I learned in Anatomy and Physiology classes...but I'm lacking knowledge of current surgical methods and post op treatment. I'm of the opinion that an educated patient has a better chance of a good outcome so I want to find out all I can about those procedures.
