How do u deal with having stretch marks? i'm very self conscience about my body. I have stretch marks on my hips, inner thighs, booty, and under my booty. It's summer time and I want to swim and have fun and go out to a water park but I'm just too ashamed about the stretch marks i have. They are very dark and I have some light colored ones too.

Is there anything I can do that will reduce it? Someone pls help!

maybe you could buy some self tanning lotion that might hide it a bit, i think there are also some lotions out there that supposedly reduce stretch marks and cellulite appearance..take a look around...i use "jergens natural glow firming"..its supposedly a firming lotion that provides some tint to the skin as well cuz i dont tan well !

yeah you could try those creams that reduce the appearence. I have never used one long enough to see if they work. I know the best way is to get a little tan, that hides them a bit. But there isnt much else you can do but accept them. I know its hard. Im 27 weeks pregnant and just noticed my 1st baby stretch marks...luckily they are under my boobs. But I have had stretch marks on my boobs since puberty. But I am NOT looking frwd to discovering more....

But try to love the body you are in....and remember that men dont notice the small marks or even care about them. We seem to be the only ones that notice them. They are too busy looking at those nice hips and butt to care. Seriously....

Thanks for your input.

I will try and look around for some kind of cream or lotion. Thank God I already have a man that loves me for me. I wasn't like this when we first met but I did gain a lot of weight over the pass 2 yrs we've been dating. I'm glad he understands and doesnt really care becuz he goes, "look I have stretch marks on my booty."

yeah guys can be so sweet sometimes. My hubby says the same things. My stretch marks are from weight gain and loss too. I had them before I met my hubby. BUt I feel good about being pregnant and getting more cause he has already been with moms before. He says hes used to stretch marks cause all he dated was older women...his ex was 39, im 21.

he says that since these new marks are from his baby and not another mans child that they are attractive....weird I know. So when I do start to feel bad I think of his comments. Its hard though one day I wont care how I look and the next I will be depressed...hormones!!!

Yeh u r right. When I start to feel down about it I will think of my fiances comments and hopefully it'll make me feel a little better. I just see all these pretty women on TV stretch mark free or atleast it appears like that. I just want that but I have to snap back into reality! Atleast I'm not alone in this. U made me feel better Rosie! Thanks

theres supposedly creams out there for this as well, but tanning helps to cover alot..and if you dont tan you can get a tan lotion that will give some color and help hide it, i think there are also spa body wraps that reduce it?

Doesn't toning muscle help with cellulite?

i think it could yea..definitely...if theres cellulite then theres obviously still a layer of fat there and toning would reduce the appearance..so maybe focus on that particular area when you go hit up the gym! maybe do some SQUATS!!..i hate those

When I was pregnant with my first baby (on my second now) I thought I was doing everything great! I was rubbing on the Cocoa butter and Shea almost every day and I was eating right (when I could keep the food down that is) but I gained a LOT of water really fast so now I have the dumb marks just under my gut. ya know, that spot you can't even SEE when your highly pregnant! I was so mortified when I found out I actually cried! I couldn't believe it! I had done it all right! Still I end up with great purple ropes of flesh up and down my poor stomach! I'm 26 and I'll never get to wear a bikini again Sad I'm in the same boat as you and if I find a cream that works I'll definitely pass it along. Please do the same for me K?
