I'm 10 days post ovulation and my period has not come. I felt some cramping 8 days post ovulation and expected my period to start but it has not. In looking back, my husband and I were together the day before I ovulated, yet used the pull-out method. Could I be pregnant?

melbrad, menstruation 8 days after ovulation is not usual. 95% of all women will menstruate between 12 and 16 days after ovulation with the fast majority at 14 days.

Some times the methods you use to track ovulation can be a few days off. That is why something like FAM is not 100% successful in preventing pregnancies.

The only way to tell if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.

I also have to warn you that pull-out is not a birth control method. If you do not want to become pregnant, find yourself a reliable birth control method. If you are tracking your ovulation and using FAM, sex without condoms is NOT recommended while you have wet mucus. Even though you may be super horny during ovulation, it is only a few days that he needs to wrap his penis in a condom or abstain.

Take care.
