my period is usually around the 24th every month. Well currently i am 5 days late and have had slight cramping but it goes away rather quickly and the cramps i do get dont last long and are usually only on one side or the other. it doesnt feel like normal period cramps. i always have signs that my period is coming. ill have cramps (which then i start later that night or the next morning), my boobs will be sore, and ill start breaking out. last month i didnt have any sighs but it still started on time. i have been urinating more and have had an upset stomach off and on, and alittle extrra gasey, and feeling more tired, i have had a craving for some things. . im waiting to take a hpt til its been atlease a full week to see if i start or not. i havnt been under any extra stress that i know of. im just wondering how high the chances are that i am pregnant. the dates add up to a time i could conceive and did have unprotected sex.
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms of on and off mild cramps, no PMS, increased frequency of urination, bloated and gassy feeling, food cravings, mood swings, increased tiredness, lightheadedness, delayed periods, along with history of having unprotected intercourse are suggestive of pregnancy. Look out for any other new symptom development. Consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician for a thorough examination and tests to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Request to get a blood HCG level test done to confirm pregnancy as urine pregnancy tests can show false negative results due to less concentration of pregnancy hormone (HCG) in urine.
