i am 16 years old. i have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend of a year and a half. i have not been on birth control for the last 3 or 4 months. my periods are PRETTY regular (if anything they are usually earlier than i expect) i should have had my period on april 10th (20 days ago). at first i though it was late because of stress but i was stressed out about a month/ month and a half ago and only for a week or two. i took a clear blue test 8 days after my missed period and one 14 days after, both were neg. the only "symptoms" i notice are that i have to pee alot, i have been having mood swings, and im a little more tired. do you think i am pregnant even though i got two neg?

go to the doctors and ask for a blood test to be done to determine whether or not you are pregnant.
as i am sure you are aware, anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy.
maybe you should consider getting back on birth control again to avoid a worry like this.

some people do test negative with the hpt...i agree that if you're late you need to get a blood test done...if you dont want to get pregnant you should not be having unprotected sex...if you do..then be prepared to be a mommy

if you had not waited so long, you could have taking plan b. if taken peoperly within 72hours, it could have prevented a pregnancy, but seeing as your 20days late thats not an option.
may i ask why you got off your birth control?
some women get off birth control because
the brand they used was not right for them
or they are trying to get pregnant, there are others, but those are the only things that come to mind.

i was on the depo shot and i hated the way it messed with my body ( i wouldnt have a period for three months, then have one for 20-30 days straight) i came off it while by boy friend was on a month long trip so i figured i would wait and just get the pill when he came home (no point in doing it for a month when i wouldnt be having sex) when he came home i made an app at our local family planning but i got reschedualed three time due to them double schedualing people then the nurse or whome ever it is got sick. then i went on a three week trip to denver and when i came home i had an appointment to get the pill after my period so that the cycle would be right. the period didnt come and they said to wait... but it never came.

Yes, you are trying to get pregnant. How else do you explain this:
"i have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend of a year and a half."

having unprotected sex does not necessarily mean planning a pregnancy, but its not preventing one either.
but to jump and say a 16 yr old is planning to get pregnant, thats not fair.
it doesnt mean she was planning this, but she was not preventing this from happening, she should have switched birth controls sooner.

but forever_strong, you said you got off the depo shot when your bf went on a month long trip, then he came home, you had a 3 week trip and then was told to come to the doctors to get the birth control. but then in your other post it says you have had unprotected sex with your boyfriend for a year and a half...confusing?

yeah i really shouldnt have been lazy and should have gotten the birth control much sooner idk i guess i just blew it off and had the stupid attitude of oh it wont happen to me. but i deff wasnt TRYING to have a baby.
