Well this is unexpected!

Hubby & I began trying to conceive three months ago. I have been off the pill for six months, and have so far had regular cycles lasting 27-33 days (lunaception really helped to get them regular). We haven't been charting or any of that jazz, just having lots of sex around ovulation time.

I normally get two weeks of very tender boobs, bad temper, tearfulness and bloating before my period, and intense (understatement!) cramps on the first day. In November, I woke up in the night with strong cramps a few days before my period was due, but the next day they had gone, and I had none of my usual PMS symptoms at all. November's period never showed, so I took a home pregnancy test (First Response) and it came back negative.

I'm now on CD52 - 21 days late - with no signs of Aunt Rose at all. No sore or swollen boobs, no PMT, no cramps, nothing. I tested again at 12 days late, with a cheaper test, and still got a negative. My GP advises that if the HPT is showing negative, I'm not prego, and says it's quite normal to miss a period. But I don't know. It doesn't feel right to me. I'm not stressed (well, no more than usual!), so I don't know what the problem could be. Any ideas?
