Just after some opinions to be honest.

I'm three days late on, each night I feel like I'm going to come on in the morning as I have slight tummy cramps and I've been really snappy & moody for no reason. I also keep getting really bad headaches and sudden tiredness. I've been sleeping a lot more then usual the past week or so. I noticed last night too that my boobs are really sore to touch which is quite unusual for me, it has happened a few times during periods but not much.
Me and my partner have had unprotected sex the past two months about 4/5 times a week at last.

Is it just me being paranoid or is there a likelihood I am pregnant?

If so when should I test?

Thanks x

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are not on any regular birth control measures, then the symptoms of delayed periods, abdominal cramps, mood changes, headaches, increased tiredness, increased sleep, sore breasts, etc that you describe could be suggestive of few of early symptoms of pregnancy. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. If the symptoms remain persistent, or if periods do not start within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Urine pregnancy test kits usually start showing positive results after about 18-20 days post-conception (roughly corresponding to about 1 week after your missed/altered periods) and you can get false negative results with urine pregnancy tests done very early in pregnancy, as the kits are calibrated ones, so unless the hormone levels in urine reach a certain level, they do not show positive results. The test should always be done on early morning first urine sample to get accurate results (pregnancy hormone HCG is believed to be in highest concentration in this sample, and you should avoid lot of fluid intake and caffeinated beverages in the night before taking the test). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.

Should we panic?
we have been having protected sex.there has been no accidental tear or leakage in the condoms as we have checked it every time. 10 days after my periods, i began spotting, thought it could have been because i had just begun exercising. for the last two weeks, i have been sleeping a lot more, tired constantly, very moody, have constant headaches, light pain in my stomach. i am also 3 days late for my periods. is there a reason i should panic?
