hi,

i have been seeing a girl. she has become pregnant and i am not sure if i am the father.

She had a urine test 2nd may 2009, it was positive.

She went to see a doctor today (5th may 2009) and i think she had an ultrasound done. she has told me that she is 3 months and 4 days pregnant. (does that make the date of conception around 1st Feb 2009?)

The first time we had sexual intercourse was around about 20th Feb 2009.

I am questioning whether or not i am the father because i always wear a condom. i have however rubbed the pubic/lip area with my penis unprotected. She is also on the the pill and has never missed a day. she says that i have been her only sexual partner but i cannot be sure...?

With the doctor/ultrasound saying she is 3 months and 4 days pregnant... is it even likely that i am the father because i did not have sex with her around that time? (3 months 4 days ago)

Hi did you use a calender to work out your estimated date or just counted back 3 months and then 4 days? because i just used calender and got 7th feb.you can't count months in pregnancy 1 month=28 days not 31 This baby may or may not be yours the reason for this because even dating scans are not totally accurate.The other thing is are you absolutely sure you first had sex on the 20th? i would be very sure about my doubts before you go telling a pregnant woman your not sure lol.But i totally understand your doubting her and if you did only have sex on the 20th and used protection then there is a good chance its not yours as scan dates are ussually days not weeks wrong good luck i hope you resolve this soon Smile

i did not know about the 1 month = 28 days... thank you.

i am sure we first had sex around the 20th. (i may be 1 day out) we went to an event. and i took pictures at that event. the pictures are dated 20th Feb.

Do you know for a fact she had a scan or is this date the doctors estimated due date i only ask because you said you think she had a scan.You really need to find this out as doctors estimates can be off by weeks.If it was a scan she had then i think its time to ask her if someone else is a possible candidate to be the father good luck with everything hope i have helped Smile

i am pretty sure she did have a scan. i have also read that scans can be wrong by weeks and are not so accurate after the first trimester.

she has told me that her last full period was 6th feb 2009. i have also googled "calculating conception dates" and from those sites it is about 14 days after the first day of last period. which would make the conception date 20th feb (same date we first had sex).

i am only questioning it (that i am the father) because i did wear protecton (condom). the only way i think it is mine is through maybe foreplay, by means of (i think they call it) pre-cum.
