As a parent I am concern when a child (3 yrs old) said I went to the dark room just now (in the kindergarten that he attended). However not to jumped into any conclusion without checking or seeing it with my own eyes, I try to comfort myself by asking my husband to ask if that's really happened. When he asked the class teacher told him no it was just a 'thread' to ensure that he is afraid and not to be naughty. However last week I went to picked him up and caught red handed, he was indeed put into a dark room my question is, is it appropriate for a teacher to punish a child and send him to a dark room? Is there no other way and one more thing today my child told me that he was put in a high chair.
