Hi everyone,

I am on the yasmin birth control pill (have been for about 4 months now) and I got my period this morning which is on time. I noticed later in the day that my blood was very very dark brown and didnt look like blood at all. Is this normal? I'm a little worried because I had an ASCUS pap smear before I started taking the pill so I wondering if something is wrong with me?

Nope, nothing is wrong with you.

Birth control can do this to your period. It's freaky at first, but its pretty normal.
