I've been with the same sexual partner for 17 months. However, as I work away, I only see him about once a month. We have unprotected sex everytime. He has never ejaculated in me until about a week ago. If I was to get an std from him wouldn't I already have gotten it through pre-ejaculation fluid? He doesn't have to ejaculate in me to get an std, correct? I was tested for stds including hiv about a month ago and I was fine. However, now that he has actually ejaculated inside me, I am a little worried. I'm a 33 year old female. and my partner says he has no infections, but I'm still concerned as I only have his word for this.

Some STDs come from genital to genital contact. No ejaculation needed. Even a lesbian couple can pass on STDs to each other where there are definitely no traditional ejaculation involved.

It does sound like you are a bit too trusting and taking chances with your own health. Have you asked him to take an STD test? And you have to be super sure that he is monogamous.

Take care!
