What do you think I should do. I also posted a topic on the forum for discussion explaing what I am worried about. My user name is PAmom38. I am pretty scared and do not know if something did in fact ruture during intercourse. It was an extremely large amount of fluid with some blood in it. I actually thought that I had lost control of my bowel when it happened. I am having severe cramping and have a sharp pain both supra pubic and left flank region. Is this normal after having a hysterctomy and does the "nick" in my bladder have anything to do with it. Not only am I afraid to have sex, I cant even go out and stand for any length of time because I have this horrible discharge when stading. My GYN is out on a medical leave his covering physician has been to booked to see me which is absurd! Help me and tell me what to do. I really know I belong in the ER right now because to pain is a 9 to 10. Help me please

List of other diseases, conditions, or injuries and their treatment: removal of two breast masses resulting in post op infection MRSA one yr ago. Currently am having post op infections as well as many other complications after hyterectomy performed 5 wks ago
Current medical status: Allergic to internal sutures, infection caused by the allergy, already took three courses of antibiotics and probloems are getting worse. Have had low grade fevers since surgery. Experiencing episodes of extreme pain, chronic UTI, bladder spasms, incontince of bladder. Severe cramping especially after intercourse. Large amount of fluid discharged during intercourse followed by pinkish tinged blody discharge. Felt as though something ruptured during intercourse and then I gushed whatever it was.

All the symptoms you reported indicate an acute pelvic inflammation. As you stated, the problems started after the hysterectomy and have not disappeared ever since. You should go immediately to the hospital and have a thorough gynecological examination. If the tissue that is inflamed ruptures then life-threatening bleeding in the abdominal cavity might happen.
