I'm a 22 year old college student and I wake up everyday very early and immediatley feeling nauseous. Sometimes I throw up and sometimes I don't. It takes me hours to feel "normal", but i'm able to function through the day. I barely have an appetite but have always been thin(and aware of it) and am trying VERY hard to eat all the time. I've lost 15 pounds over the past year or so.

My father passed away 2 years ago very unexpectedly and my mother starts chemo therapy for breast cancer in days. I have made an appointment with a therapist (which took 2 years to pick up the phone and do). But would like some help for the time being. MAINLY with loss of appetite. I understand that this is probably due to stress and anxiety. I have a prescription for xanax but have only been brave enough to take half and nearly had a panic attack (not sure if it was an side/adverse effect). I need to stop losing weight, i'm 5'9 110. This behavior is affecting my personal life and has really taken a toll on my boyfriend. My mother asked me if i was purging yesterday. Help!
