Dad's visits and unhealthy eating

User Profile
I believe that children should have healthy eating habits. I know with my two year old I like her to eat her dinner's, (not all but most of it) but how can I do that when her dad comes to visit, he is constantly allows her to snack, chocolate, lollies etc and when it comes to her eating dinner, she doesn't want it.

Then when he leaves its back to a normal routine (my routine..lol) and they still don't eat properly

What do you think???

Hi leeslight,

The grown up gets to make the decisions, which of the two parent is the grown up? When it comes to the 2 year old tell dad he can bring her healthy snacks but obesity is not cute....it hurts as she will see when she starts school.

Good Luck,

Try to show your kid what is good and what is bad but don't tell her what to eat. Make it interesting to her it's just a kid and you as a parent have to show her the right way. Try a game or tell her a story may be this could work
