After 4 weeks of being pregnant and had a miscarriage. Having lower stomach pain and lower back pain as well with lots of bleeding and clots. I didn't go see my GYN doctor because i no longer have health insurance because no longer FT employee but PT which stopped my medical benefits. My question, Is a D&C needed or will theses symptoms stop after my body is finished with this miscarriage?
How long does miscarriages last? I am no longer bleeding, but still having the pain. scared Crying or Very sad

WHEN I MISCARRIED THEY HAD TO DO BLOOD TESTS ONCE A WEEK TO CK THE HCG LEVELS. IF THEY DIDN'T GET TO A CERTAIN POINT I WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAD A D/C. I DIDN'T HAVE PAIN FOR 4 WEEKS AND I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD BE UNLESS SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. YOU SHOULD PROBABLY SEE A DR. ABOUT IT. YOU COULD ALWAYS GO TO AN URGENT CARE OR ER. THEY WILL BILL YOU LATER AND MOST IF NOT ALL HAVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR UNINSURED. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. TAKE CARE.

Concerned, there isn't one answer for you. Some women's bodies expell everything. Some don't. When your body doesn't expell everything is when you need to have the D&C and sometimes further testing.

Since you are still experiencing pain, you need to be seen.

most hospitals will allow you to apply for ahcccs right then and there. They sometimes have finacial advisors available right at the hospital.

They cannot deny you care and they can set up payment plans. Most hospital's also give a self paying patient a discount. If you are part time you may qualify for state medical insurance.

Have you applied for medical assistance yet?
