D&C necessary after blood clotting?

My wife was Seven Weaks pregnant, uptil Last Wednesday, when she started feeling some spotting. After which she regular periods.I took her to the Lady doctor for an ultrasound, which showed NO Scars of baby but small scars of Blood Clotting. Her HCG Level was 2185.00 last Thursday.She has descharged very tiny blood clots since then. Now today her HCG Level is 485.90 and she has almost stopped bleeding. She is neither having any sorts of pains nor she is facing any fever.

Kindly guide me whether she needs a D&C/medication or she will be normal with the passage of time?
