Q: Cytoxan to treat MS

Hi. I have been on chemo of Cytoxan to treat my sudden flare up of a version of MS for a year now, and I am having an MRI on the 25th (next Wednesday, 3/25) to determine if I have to keep doing the Cytoxan chemo. My questions are: will having 2 alcoholic drinks per week affect my MRI results? Also, are there other recommendations for treatment other than chemo? Thank you for your time Smile

Version of MS? What would that be?

No, 2 alcoholic drinks per week will not affect your MRI...

Every time I've had an MRI it was not mentioned that if I drank alcoholic beverages to cease x number of days before-hand...

My last post
Well, it is MS, but they haven't seen this type before... Been all over country (of course, I was completely incoherent during the time of flare up so no memory), but I had major demyelination, loss of balance, memory, etc. I hate the Cytoxan/chemo, and my MRI on Wednesday may be a determiner of how much more or if any I will have to continue going through.

Basically, I am thinking of having some drinks w/ family to celebrate a birthday and am wondering if the drinks will affect the MRI results. They haven't for you? Very nice. Hmmm

Regards
