For about 5 days now i have had a cyst im sure of it, on the left side of my groin. its very painful and gettin larger? first off it was pea size now its getting close to pingpong ball. not exactly round anymore either. it changed shape almost as if theres multiple cysts i think soon it will pop and if not im worried about what will happen. i kno there dangerous kinda to have they cause other problems. what can i do? to keep the swelling down or to help get rid of it. i went to see a doctor but they werent the greatest and didnt go back for it to be drained. i have had them for over 3 years now and watch them very closely but this one's outta hand.

I have them regularly and they are NOT fun at all. I've been to several doctors as well and all they seem to do is drain them, but then they come back. My best suggestion for quick relief would be to put a heating pad over it while you sleep or have some down time. Purchase some Hibiclins or other over-the-counter antiseptic and wash the area a few times a week. Don't use it everyday or you're liable to get a yeast infection of the skin. Best of luck to you!
