I went to the hospital to get a pregnancy
blood test done because I got two positive
hpt's a week earlier and I wanted to
confirm it. The blood test was negative
but I told them I've been so nausous the
past 2 weeks, sore boobs, frequent
urination, and bad cramps with no period
and excessive cervical mucus. I'm a
little over a month late now and I never
skip a period. The doctors did an
ultrasound and found a cyst on my right
ovary. They said that they didn't see a
sac or baby in there at all. Can a cyst
cause a positive hpt? I have all the
pregnancy symptoms except the baby and
it's very frustrating! I just wish my
period would come! Can a cyst stop your
period from coming as well?

Some cysts can cause hormonal imbalances.
I'm not sure about pregnancy hormones, but
I know the regular cycle can be effected.
It could've been a miscarried pregnancy
(which is really really common in the
earliest stages of pregnancy, most women
never even know it happens) Or you were
just getting false positives from the
cyst. I'm not sure.

I have a problem where my eggs turn into
to cysts on my overies. I constantly have
to go get them removed. I do have
pregnancy like symptoms. I am nauseous and
I urinate alot. ANy I have seere cramps
that will have me curled up in a little
ball. It sucks but if it is large enough
they will remove it. Otherwise they will
put you on birth control and it should
disolve. Hope this helps.
