My husband and I are TTC but after going off Ortho Tri Cyclen lo 4 months ago my periods are extremely messed up. I cant really say irregular, b/c For instance I started on Dec. 5 bled for 9 days then started again on Dec. 23 bleeding for 8 days, and starting again on Jan. 15 which was 2 days ago and still going strong. I was only on the pill for 9 months, and my 'normal' cylce was 30 days with just 4 days of bleeding. I'm so confused about what to expect and when to expect ovulation. I've used Ovulation test strips and when I start using them, I only have a few days of pos. LH, then I start my period again. I'm getting pretty frustrated with the seemingly constant periods!! Any help out there would be much appreciated.

Are you saying that your cycle was 27 days long? I don't know what "27 last" means.

Depending on how long you were on the pill, it can take time for your body to even out. Have you been ovulating?

Hi Maddie,
Thank so much for your reply. Youre right I meant, 27 days long (first month), 24 days long (second month) and third month I have strong menstrual pain since day 16 of my cycle!! I am in day 20 and I believe my period is here. I have not seen white egg cervical mucus at all! So I cannot tell that I ovulated!
