Q: Cutting causing hair removal ?

Hello. I am a 14 (almost 15) year-old female. I cut on a fairly regular basis. (About 3-5 times a week.) Some weeks it is less, and some weeks it is more. I am in counseling once a week, and am trying to switch over to a new therapist... My question is is that when I cut, the hair around my cut seems to fall off, or something. It is really odd. I will cut, and clean the wound(s) and while the cut is in the process of healing, all the hair around it falls off, making it much more noticable!
Is this normal? (I cut my arms and legs...)
Thanks.
