okay so this is a little difficult to talk about.

recently i went to the doctor because it hurt really badly when i peed, she said i had a bacterial infection and gave me the medication for it, well a little while ago i finished my period and i noticed the i had cuts around the outside of my vagina. not inside, but four areas on the outside of it. its very painful, and i am just wondering if anyone has experienced it or if its a result of the medication or what??.. please help..

hi shaneer, i'm sorry to hear that you're having problems and not feeling good. what do you attribute these cuts to? i've never heard of anything like it. is it possible that you are using tampons (like ob or something that don't have an applicator) and you're cutting yourself with your fingernails?

i hope you feel better sweetie.

i have no idea what has caused this problem, i shower daily, i dont have long fingernails, no sharp object goes down there.. the problems all started a couple of months ago when i used a lubricant (i mean it started to hurt when i peed) only recently the cuts have appeared, its very painful and i dont know what do do.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection.

It's really common when taking antibiotics. Go back to the doctor to make sure that's what it is, but the medication for it is over the counter.

Keep the area clean and dry for now.
