Two weeks ago i went to my gynecologist for my yearly check up and she told me that i had a non-sexually related vaginal bacterial infection where i was overproducing CLUE cells. She gave me some anti-biotics to take twice a day for 5 days - about 10 to 12 days after seeing her i had a strange feeling in my vagina it was kind of an itch but not quite. i ignored it. My boyfriends and i had sex and that kind of irritated it but there was no burning etc. Now about 2 weeks after my visit i have a cut about 1 inch away from my clitoris at first i thought it might have been a sore but that's not possible i can't have an STD since I've been with my BF for a year and 6 months and we've been with no one but each other - yes i'm sure of this. So could i have developed a yeast infection due to my use of the anti-biotics? and if so what can u use to help the cut and get rid of the infection?
