Months ago I was boating in a lake with a friend, my foot got cut pretty deep, but did not need stitches, it wont still heal and i'm not sure what to do, it doesn't bother me, but I'm afraid it may be staff infection. Please help, Should I see my doctor?

Infection can cause impaired cut healing, but, there should be some signs of infection, like pus draining from the cut, redness, and pain.
Generally, when the healing of skin defects is prolonged the cause is lack of blood flow to that region.
Blood flow may be reduced due to many factors including high cholesterol (atherosclerosis of legs arteries), diabetes, or improper diet.
