Before I get into the main subject, check out rheos hypertension Therapy System.
I read that the device was dropping systolic readings by 35 points. The following is a cut/paste from the article I found.
----------------------------------------
-- Systolic blood pressure was reduced by an average of 35 mmhg (191 mmHg verses.156 mmHg); and
-- diastolic blood pressure was reduced by an average of 24 mmHg (116 mmHg vs. 92 mmHg).
----------------------------------------
If you want to find the article, do a google search on "Rheos europe 35"
It is still in trials in the USA. I tried to get into the trials, but was denied entry because I have atrial fibrulation.

Do some research on CardioDynamic's BioZ machine with reguard to its use to hypertensive or HBP
Then if you are really excited, get ready for a knock-down dragout with your doctor. I know because I have been there.
I am now on about 7 meds for HBP. They work but make me feel terrible.
My doctor has a BioZ machine and I got the nurse to give me the BioZ test when I was off my meds. The the next day after taking the new medications, I got her to do the BioZ test again.
When the doctor came in, I said "see the meds didn't make my readings on the BioZ tests change. Maybe you should reconsider what meds I should be on."
His response was "The BioZ" machine isn't used for testing the cause of HBP.
Well, I just couldn't believe he would say that. The machine costs $25,000. How could it be that he didn't know about using the BioZ machine for customizing HBP treatment.
I called up CardioDynamics, said I was a nurse for his office and had them send my doctor the BioZ literature.
Oh, by the way, in tests comparing "expert doctors" against "expert doctors the BioZ machine", the latter group of people saw a higher drop in their BP. The BioZ machine is just another tool for your doctor to use.
Very, very frusturating.
