Q: Cure ?

I don't want any of you to miss the final points just made at this thread of mine:
http://www.ehealthforum.com/health/unoffic ially-diagnosed-lupus-t154267.html

I have found no cure; it just seems like a way to live longer, perhaps with fewer doctor visits.

The SHORT answer: Valium or is generic equivalent, for myself. I go generic every time.

The sole reason for this new thread/sole post is to ensure that the documenary thread gets seen by YOU.

I have nothing to shill or sell or promise at all.
I only feel lucky to have stumbled, all by myself, on a cheap drug that may possibly
offer some others some "miraculous" relief.

That is all. HERE is the thread link once again;
http://www.ehealthforum.com/health/unoffic ially-diagnosed-lupus-t154267.html

The last post there from me, from today, is the (lengthy) summary.

Please understand that I am no MD nor guru.
I'm just an ill person who has gained a reprieve,

no thanks to conventional treatments nor MDs nor.... seaweed, etc.

Thanks, good luck

Reid

Update here, because I don't want to further junk-up the main thread.
The main thread, cited above, will be updated over the next weeks, to document any ups or downs of the valium / diazepan therapy.

This post merely is to note: half hour ago I took my sixth-hour interval of diazepan.
Instead of the usual 5mg oral tablet, I took ten mg. I plan to go to sleep soon.
Am a day sleeper. Resting blood pressure, instead of the usual 140/80 sort, is
at this time of writing: 102/72.

You may know, should know: diazepan is a CNS depressant. Over dose (and mine is far, far, from that level) can cause cardiovasular collapse (much too low blood pressure).

Now, this is quite proof-positive, that for myself, beta blockers and $$$ commercially promoted, patented, name brand blood pressure regulators are not needed here for myself.

At this level of diazepan dosage, I feel heavy, weak, leaden to some degree, but not LUPUS-LIKE: that indescribably awful "I'm gonna die I'm so tired" sensation.
No, I merely feel physically sedated, but not narcotized (not "happy" or goofy).

I will sleep soon and sleep well for change (compared against no diazepan or other sleep aid).
When I awake in six or eight hours, I will administer a 5mg oral dose of the stuff (I break 10mg tablets in half).

Diazepan is CHEAP. It is helping me greatly. READ the cited thread above for my full story to date.

IF AND WHEN new problems or loss of efficacy, or other negatives develop, I will report there,
not in this thread.

Please do not junk up the documentary thread with your good wishes or concerns or prayers;
those only make an already too-long thread (my fault, that) harder to wade through.

Yawn, but for the right reason now,

cheers from Reid. 100 over 70. Imagine that. In a 54 year old who surely has all the common conditions of normal aging, limed pipes, so to speak, underlayment for this lupus condition.

I am not a victim. I'm only a person hoping to live a while longer with quality of life sufficient,
and NO doctors mucking me up with rounds of this or that, which for me, wont do at all.

zzzzz,
thanks.

PS: Friends, let me add this much more. I "discovered" diazepan on my own. After the first week I thought to type in these two keywords to the Google Search bar:

LUPUS VALIUM

How many of you medicos have ever read about that?
How many of you patients were ever advised by your MDs, running poisons and bloodletting you for organ failure tests, how many of them ever offered you to try a mild, trial prescription of valium/diazepan?

How many dollars are wasted and how many people suffer?
WILL THIS help ten percent of you sufferers by even ten percent improvement?
If so, it's a wonder.
For me, it's more than a wonder: diazipan is my new and possibly endless lifeline.

I don't want to mis-guide anyone. I am no expert or advisor, really.
I only know my own case history. Thank you for looking out for this thread.

There is NO cure for lupus, folks. But there is hope for minimal bad effects.
Read, filter information/claims, see a doctor if at all possible. That is all.
