Hi, i've had lower back pain for about
7months. I've tried threapy, and have 2
cortizone injectionze(1 being a block
injection).I had an mri done and the
neurologist said that nothing surgical
shows up. He wants a ct myleogram
done.I've heard that ct myleograms are
very painful,can anyone whose had one
comment?

i had one, don't work yourself up it was
nothing just a pinch and it was over in
about 5 min. follow all instructions after
the procedure. you will be asked to lay
down for a while. mine was 2 hours so the
hole was heal.

Positioning the needle can occasionally
cause a sharp pain and although it is
uncommon, headache due to the needle
puncture following myelography is one
risk.but basically,It is safe.
