I have suffered with the above for the past year. I collapsed at home in May and had my gall bladder removed 3 days later. I was feeling much better for about 6 weeks then the same thing happened again and I was admitted to hospital for 2 weeks where I underwent several tests which included and endoscopy and colonoscopy. The endoscopy showed a lot of acid in my stomach and the latter was negative. I am currently taking colpermin and amatryptaline daily but with little or no affect. My diet is very limited e.g. low fat, no cream, cheese etc. When the pain/discomfort is bad I can only eat porridge or rice krispies!! This is having a big impact on my life. The pain or discomfort can come immediatley or 4 hours after having a meal. I have been tested for ceoliacs with one of the results being inconclusive. I am now trying accupuncture and have asked for some food intolrance testing to be done which I am having to pay for. Can anyone help me???
