finn was about 7 months. he did a silly crawl though, he walked on his hands and feet instead of his hands and knees. he looked like mowgli from the jungle book.

Haha, how cute!
I ask because Kaylee will be 9 months on the 29th, but she isn't crawling yet. She'll get on all fours and rock back and forth, but then gets lazy and goes back on her tummy.
I'm wondering if she'll skip crawling altogether and go straight to walking. It's uncommon, but it happens, right???

my daughter is almost 7 1/2 months now and she is crawling but she doesn't get very far. she just started about a week ago so she's not that good at it yet. she mostly just rocks back and forth on her hands and knees.

Jenny was 9 months when she crawled. She did that rocking backwards & forwards thing for about a week & then she was off!

Ok, so I shouldn't be worried about it then?

No, all babies do things at different ages. When Jenny hit 9 months she suddenly learnt to crawl, pull herself up & started walking while holding onto the sofa.. all pretty much at the same time! I'm sure Kaylee will start crawling any day now.. just keep encouraging her while she's on all fours!

My daughter and son crawled and walked faster than the other (sorry can't recalled who) however the slower one was more stable than the other. My daughter talked slower than the other one but her pronuncation is clear than my boy. It's different from one child then the other.

Is it bad that I had to get the baby book out to see when my Kaylee started crawling She was 7 months. Don't worry she'll start soon & like someone else said, you won't be able to keep up!

Mika doesn't actualy crawl properly but that's because we have laminate floors and it's really slippery so she just kinda pulls herself along with a crawling motion if that makes sense. She's just started to pull herself up onto furniture and try to walk over to me though so i think she's going to skip the proper crawl and go strate to walking. She's just coming up to 9 months now but she's been doing her little crawl thing since she was a little under 6 months

Luke is 7 months and doesn't really try. Well, he tries but he is all confused. He gets onto his belly and kicks his legs and punches his arm. He is totally resting on his belly then and looks like he is doing that one Pilates move called swimmer. my poor child is so far behind
