Am I Pregnant Answer A21392
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is not uncommon to find women getting pregnant while being on birth control. Your symptoms could be suggestive of early pregnancy. The spotting could suggest implantation bleeding or a shorter and lighter period. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for examination and blood HCG test to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Blood HCG tests are accurate in confirming pregnancy early (at about 11 days post conception). Urine pregnancy tests usually start being positive about 20 days post conception, and can show false negative results.
Take care.
