Hello there. :]

So here's what's happening. I don't really keep track of the dates my period is due because I'm on the pill.. or I was.. I started my most recent pack of birth control pills a week after my period started (stupid thing, I know!). About 4 or 5 days after that I was with a boy... no actual intercourse, just fingering but you know there still are chances of getting pregnant like that.

Life went on, it's the 9th right now, I would say my period's due sometime soon, I wouldn't know. the problem is I've been having period cramps like crazy, especially these past three days or so, and noticed a weird white-yelloesque discharge, so here I am thinking, ohgodohgod. I took a pregnancy test earlier this morning and it came back negative, I'll wait this out a week or so I suppose.

But has anyone experienced this? I don't ever recall getting period cramps days before my period.

Are you itchy at all?
Any colored discharge usually means there's an infection. You probably should speak with a doctor to see if you need some antibiotics.

I don't know what exactly happened, but you aren't at risk for pregnancy unless there was sperm in contact with your vagina. If there was just fingering, then you are probably fine.

nah, I'm not itchy at all... and there might have been sperm contact, he did go in deep but I can't remember if his hands were clean or not. ;P

I'm probably fine, but I'll keep a lookout. cheers for the reply.

Hi there it's me again... I'm showing more symptoms right now.. care to read?

so as mentioned before I'm pretty messed up with my birth control pills. I started them a week after my period, so normally my period would have been due like 5-7 days ago... what I got was brown spotting... only for a day though. it stopped.. what could this be?

right now I'm feeling awful but thats because I just finished my pack... I took two pills last night and didn't have a lot to eat, I'm on the jazmin pill...

what's everyone got to say about this?

you cannot get pregnant from fingering unless the guy had just recently gotten semen on his own hand and the inserted in into your vagina immediately after. Semen cannot live outside the body for long at all.

Brown spotting could be left over blood from the last period or that one. It is also said that it could be a sign of pregnancy.

My recommendation, don't Google symptoms. Smile I did it and freaked out a bit ago that I might of been pregnant, I've gone through a lot of HPT tests (mostly on my own) and one at the doctors that all came back negative.

I would call and ask your doctor or whomever prescribes those birth control pills to you. They might know of possible side-effects from beginning a new pack of pills or having your period in between, etc, ya know? If you are that worried hon, wait until your next period should start (I know it's a bit of a wait, just keep yourself busy) and take an HPT test. Do NOT stress, it may cause a delay in your period. Best of luck and keep us posted!

I agree, don't Google some conditions, it comes up with completely untrue statements.

There is always the pregnancy tests and waiting for your period, as well as blood tests from your doctor.

It's not that the symptoms are untrue-- it’s just not exclusive to pregnancy so people get worried for nothing.

You have the brown discharge because you started your pills late-- it throws your cycle off a bit and you probably have a slight hormonal imbalance right now. You may have some breakthrough bleeding further into your pills, but it’s just because your body needs to adjust itself to your pills again.
