Hi there i had a surgical abortion 3 days ago. For the first 2 days i had no cramping, no bleeding and felt really good. However yesterday i started cramping mildly, and now today it has been really severe! I am dosing on painkillers, which aren't really getting rid of the pain at all! and i am only bleeding slightly, no more than spotting! Can i ask if this is normal?? and how long on average the cramping will last for?

Would really appreciate some advice!!

Thank you!!!!!!!

You should call the clinic that performed the abortion and ask them. They'll ask you to take your temperature to make sure you aren't running a fever from infection. They'll ask you about your bleeding, etc.

Hurry and call. Its Friday and you don't want to wait until Monday!
