Me and Chu are having a really rough day. I thought about taking him out to the park today but I really don't have the energy. It was all I could do to make him oatmeal and cut up bananas for his breakfast. This is nuts because I went to bed at 10:30 last night and didn't get up until 7:30. My day was already headed down the toilet at that point because I need to be awake for at least an hour before he gets up so I can function. I need that time to get my head together, eat in peace and gear up for the day. When I don't have it, I'm a super grump. We're potty training too and that's killing me. Some days (like today) it seems he's never going to get the picture. I'm ready to just stick him back in a diaper. Mad He knows when he has to go to the bathroom because he'll hold his tummy and say what it is that he's about to do. Then once he does it he'll go to his changing table and take out a clean pull up and bring it to me then tell me "dutty peepee" or "dutty poopees". He'll even take off his pants and lay down on the floor for me to clean him up. When he has to go I'll take him to the potty and he'll sit there but he won't go no matter how long he sits there. He'll get up, run off and go pee on the floor somewhere. Aarrgh! Plus he's just entered into this tantrum phase that I really can not stand. He's whiny and grumpy and he throws things. He won't play with his toys on his own anymore or even with me, he brings them to me and wants me to play with them while he watches. I'm losing it today. I can't wait for nap time because we've only been awake for 2 hours and I'm already bone tired. I just want a nap and i've still got 2 hours to go. Ugh! Someone help!

Sorry you guys are having such a rough day, I can just imagine how frustrating it gets potty training. We aren't there yet but I'm kind of dreading it! Hope you're taking your well deserved nap!

Ava's starting to tell me when she has to pee, but as soon as I sit her, she runs off naked and a few times she peed on the floor. I don't know if I should get her pull ups yet or just give her a few more months and see. I feel like she's too young, but she's showing some signs.

I know how you feel about waiting for naptime. Sometimes when it's like an hour till nap, I'll just watch the clock or try to occupy my time. After spending all morning playing and trying to get her out of everything, I'm pooped and ready to relax.
