Hi folks

Recently during intercourse with my girlfriend I experienced a burning sensation when i ejaculated. 2 days later my girlfriend started showing symptoms such as burning during urination, constant need to urinate, sore kidneys, etc. she went to the doctors and it was diagnosed as a uti in which they prescribed her with a weeks dose of antibiotics. since then she doesn't appear to have any symptoms. However I now appear to be having a burning sensation during urination and sometimes a need to go to the toilet often.

I'm basically wondering could this be a urinary tract infection or an std?
I was diagnosed about 6 months ago with chalmydia but took treatment to get rid of it. However is it possible for us both to start showing symptoms of chlamydia 5 months later and at the same time?

I was also curious is it actually possible to pass on a urinary tract infection?

If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks for your help.
Marvol
