I am a very healthy 37 year old woman. I have a 3.8 yr. old little boy and miscarried for the first time with our second baby at 12 weeks in September 08. With both pregnancies I used the Ovulation sticks to indicate my ovulation and conceived immediately both times using this method. In November 08 and December 08 I used the Ovulation sticks and I highly suspect that conception occurred but the pregnancy did not take.

The reason I suspect conception is because I felt significant symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, mild cramps and tingling in my belly button about 3-4 post conception. These are time related symptoms I felt with both of my previous pregnancies. And these symptoms are not normal for me during any given month. I will have premenstrual symptoms of cramping, mood swings and swollen breasts about 2-3 days prior to the start of my period but not any sooner than that.

Also my last two menstrual cycles have been irregular. My November 08 cycle (5 days) was very heavy and painful. My December 08 cycle was painful and short (2 days). My normal cycles are very consistent, lasts 5 days, starts of with a medium flow for 2 days, day 3 is heavy, day 4 is lighter and day 5 is very light. I have moderate cramping and Advil is used to target pain.

Could I be experiencing fertility issues?
