Hi everyone,
My husband and i have been trying for a baby for a few months. I came off the pill a year ago (my husband was away for a while and only came back a few months ago!) and i only started making a note of my periods in April and so not entirely sure how regular they were but i don't think they were very irregular! There were 33 days between my last 2 periods.
I'm now on day 38 which i think is the longest i've been without a period.
We bought a Clearblue test last night and took it right away but it was negative. I'd had a few glasses of coke a few hours before i took the test, would this have affected the result?

I have had a few symptoms including:
tender breasts and sore nipples (including leaking milk??),
some pain in the lower abdomen, sometimes i mistake this for my period but it never shows,
Mood swings, I have burst into tears twice at work in the past week or so which is unlike me,
Stomach has been feeling full and sometimes uncomfortable and feel sick sometimes

Any advice will be much appreciated

These are all symptoms of pregnancy. I have heard of people not getting a possitive for a few days or even weeks! Maybe the HGC Hormone isnt strong enough to detect yet. Try another test in a few days. try atleast 3 just to be sure. But just incase, I would start on prenatal vitamins (you can get a drugstores) and eat healthy, and dont drink, smoke, or do anything that can harm your body or baby!
