Could I have HIV?

Forgive me if I am being paranoid.

I went out for a dinner date with a girl. I was already half crook with a slight sore throat and a bit of a cough. Anyway the dinner date went well and the night ended up back at her place. We had sex and protection was used though not for oral sex. That night after I'd gone home I had a fairly violent cough and sore throat. I was shivering something fierce with a cold sweat in bed and I was delirious. I haven't had that sleeping problem since but I cant seem to shake this sore throat and cough and it's been a week now. I've also experienced fatigue this last week.

I'm probably just being paranoid but my mind would be at great rest if I could get an opinion and would like to know if its worth getting tested or not.
