Last month my period came a week early and lasted only 4 days. This month it came 4 days earlier than last months. This month, my period was pretty regular the first and second day but started lightening up towards the end of the second day. Today is the third day and it is very light and at times not even flowing. Yesterday, my whole ovary/ pelvic area hurt while I had a bowel movement. My period cramps have always been normal and bearable. I have never had dying excrusiating period cramps and my periods are always regular. The terrible pains while I poop only come when I am on my period. Why is this? What is wrong with me? Why are my periods shortening up?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

The symptoms described by you as irregular periods associated with pain can be indicative of underlying pathology as pelvic infection, endometritis, ovarian cysts, thyroid disorder. You require a detailed examination along with investigations as USG scan, hormonal analysis for precise diagnosis.Based on that the exact treatment would be started.
Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation.
Take Care!
