I'm a 23 year old female with a confusing phenomena that I was wondering about.
My vision has always been a bit odd. When I was a little girl I used to have to wear a patch as I was long sighted in one eye and short sighted in the other. The right eye has always been a lot weaker but my vision has been good enough not to need glasses as my left eye compensated.

Over the last month, maybe 2 months, whenever people have taken a photo of me with a point and click camera my right eye has flashed up a bit gold. It's utterly bizarre. However when I have had a photo taken at close range with a mobile/cell phone camera (with flash) there hasn't been this goldy/yellow eye thing.

Any ideas, I haven't seen anything about an early/mid 20s female having this and I think my doctor will think I'm barmy.

Coats’ disease, (also known as exudative retinitis or retinal telangiectasis, sometimes spelled Coates' disease), is a very rare eye disorder, causing full or partial blindness, characterized by abnormal development of blood vessels behind the retina.
