Could I have an STD or am I overreacting?

I have red dots on the tip of my penis when I pull the foreskin back. They're only on the tip and on the bottom tip of the head, no where else. They dont itch or anything, it doesn't burn when I pee or nothing, they're just there.

I did switch over to more tighter fitting underwear after years of wearing loose boxer shorts, could that be it? Could it be the soap that I use?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. With uncircumcised foreskin many local benign lesions can be a cause and not likely STDs. God hygiene and avoid masturbation will help. COnsider therapeutic circumcision for relief.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
